In Pursuit of Myself: Restaurant review : Revel

We recently designated saturdays and sundays as our only eating out days, so that means you should be getting at least one restaurant review per week!? Could be yes, could be no, we will see!?

Past saturday we went all out to try this popular Asian fusion restaurant called Revel in Fremont. And by going all out I mean wait for more than 90 minutes with this drink in my hand. They do not take reservations for a party under 6 people. And at one point of time we were contemplating leaving just after drinks and appetizers (they bring food in the waiting area), but thought maybe we will not be coming here again anytime soon so lets beat it. And it turned out to be actually nice, we talked a lot, laughed with each other, also there were very long intervals when both of us were very socially active with the world via mails, twitter, Facebook, instagram, the works you know. ;) So, if you have company and want to spend a good amount of time savoring each other's company, good drinks and food in a very upbeat setting, give it a try. But if its one of those nights, where you want to just go, grab dinner and come home to a movie in PJs, definitely call it quits!



Tried Salmon Roe for the first time and it was weird and interesting at the same time, if you know what I mean! After dinner walk in search for some desserts. I would definitely commend Simply desserts if you want a late night sweet fix.
