Samsung flaunts amber brown, ruby wine Galaxy Note IIs to pair with your drapes

Samsung flaunts amber brown, wine Galaxy Note IIs to match your dinette set

Were you hoping to get that Galaxy Note II in a cooler color than marble or titanium gray, like maybe hotrod red? Would you settle for "amber brown" or "ruby wine," to perhaps match that chaise lounge? That's good, because Samsung has decided to out the 5.5-inch phablet in those trendily specific colors on January 17th, in Korea at least -- though given the five million plus units sold so far, it's earned the right to tint the Note II however it wants. The new hues will blanket the front, back and S-Pen of the device, but we're not sure if we're fashion-forward enough to rock "ruby wine" -- especially on a loud & proud handset like that.

IBM On Business Analytics In Banking : Enterprise Irregulars

ibm1-300x225I was on an IBM analyst call ?on analytics in banking, featuring Laurence Trigwell, who is responsible for IBM?s business analytics strategy for the Financial Services industry.

In response to a number of challenges that banks (and other financial institutions) are facing, he identified three key initiatives for these companies:

  • Creating a customer-focused enterprise
  • Optimize risk and compliance
  • Increase flexibility and streamline operations

Obviously, analytics are pretty important to all of this, and IBM continues to focus on building their analytics portfolio with acquisitions such as Algorithmics and capabilities such as Watson. As with all of their portfolios, the IBM analytics portfolio contains a number of different products, making it a bit difficult for customers (and probably IBM sales reps) to wade through the potential solutions; however, for the purposes of this presentation, Trigwell has organized them around the three key initiatives listed above.

  • For creating a customer-focused enterprise, you need performance management, business intelligence and predictive analytics in order to gain insights from customer data to ?provide the most profitable offer to the right customer at the right time?. Although this sort of ?next best action? view of analytics for customer focus is part of the picture, I think that it misses the point completely: the stated goal (in quotes above) is really focused on the enterprise, not the customer, since it has enterprise profitability at the core. Not that profitability isn?t important, but if you?re going to be truly customer-focused, you need to have some goals stated as actual direct customer benefits. It might be the same thing, since providing an offer that is best suited to a customer?s needs means that they are more likely to accept it, which in turn results in great profitability in a probabilistic sense, but using language that is actually customer-focused when you?re talking about becoming a customer-focused enterprise is important to shift corporate culture.
  • For optimizing risk and compliance, you will need risk management, governance, performance management, compliance and business intelligence capabilities. I don?t disagree with this, and analytics (as well as other things, such as BPM) can definitely turn risk management and compliance from just overhead to a competitive advantage, if you do it well.
  • For increasing flexibility and streamlining operations, you will need performance management, predictive analytics and business intelligence capabilities for identifying process bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies. This is really about displaying and reporting on what?s happening, not fixing the problems, so not a sense-and-respond view of analytics or how it fits into process management in general.

In each of these three scenarios, the capabilities that he is suggesting that you need are actually IBM products: from three to five products for each scenario if you want to go all out. They have bundled some of these into industry solutions, but it?s not clear what the level of integration between the products is to create a seamless solution, or if they?re only integrated on the PO. Clearly, IBM needs to do some rationalization of their analytics portfolio to reduce the number of products (as they need to do in some of their other portfolios), although their usual strategy is to allow acquired companies to run pretty much untouched for quite a long time before starting to merge products. That strategy is good for the sales teams and the executives of the acquired company, but not necessary good for customers who have to deal with an increasingly large and bewildering array of products that overlap in functionality. The case studies that he discussed typically used only one product, either Algorithmics or Cognos, although one used both Cognos and SPSS, so I?m not sure that there?s much of an appetite for multiple analytics products applied to the same initiative.

In all cases, he talks about analytics as identifying/reporting on issues/situations, but not much on how analytics need to fit together with other systems to make it all happen. He touches on a bit of this with some of his case studies, but it would be great to see the analytics for banking shown in the context of other IBM products that can really make the three initiatives real, such as CRM, BPM and ECM.

Since banks and other financial institutions are my main customer base for consulting, and they?re all IBM customers, it will be interesting to see how they roll out some of the newer IBM products and solutions, especially in combination, in the years to come.

Report: Europe luxury destination for Chinese

(AP) ? A report says Europe is surging as a popular luxury destination for Chinese millionaires.

The Hurun Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey 2013 says France is number one and half of the top 10 destinations are European countries. They include Switzerland, Britain, Italy and Germany.

The U.S. and Singapore are 2 and 3.

The survey released Tuesday says Chinese millionaires who send their children abroad still prefer the U.S., followed by Britain and Canada.

It also found the richer they are, the less happy they are, with both male and female millionaires generally dissatisfied with their health and wanting to spend more time with their children.

Swimming is their favorite hobby and the Internet their medium of choice for news.

The report surveyed 551 mainland Chinese millionaires between June and December 2012.

Crisis in Pakistan as court orders arrest of prime minister - World News

Pakistan's Supreme Court ordered an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and 16 others in connection with a corruption case. NBCNews.com's Dara Brown reports.

By Waj S. Khan, Producer, NBC News

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- Pakistan was plunged into a fresh political crisis Tuesday after its judiciary ordered the arrest of the prime minister over corruption allegations amid ongoing public protests.

The country?s Supreme Court ordered the detention of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and others accused of involvement in kickbacks over the construction of power stations ?-- a surprise development in an ongoing investigation.

It comes as tens of thousands of protesters occupy streets in the capital, Islamabad, demanding the resignation of the entire government.

Muhammed Muheisen / AP

Images of daily life, political pursuits, religious rites and deadly violence.

The demonstrators have pledged to remain on the streets in support of a populist cleric, who some allege is backed by the military.

The court's decision is likely to underline the demands of?of?Muhammad Tahirul Qadri,?who is seeking a crackdown on corruption and other reforms.

Thousands of of his supporters marched on the city Monday, promising to join the local demonstrators to establish a local version of Cairo's Tahrir Square in a bid to oust the government.

Ashraf is nicknamed 'Raja Rental' by local media because of his alleged involvement in corruption over the introduction of so-called 'rental power plants' - independently-owned plants that sold energy to the state in a bid to close a growing demand-supply gap.?

Ashraf was the?water and power minister at the time of their introduction. The schemes were ruled illegal by a court 12 months ago because of a lack of transparency,

He is the second prime minister installed by the regime of President Zardari - and the second to face a court order. The first, Yousuf Gillani, was removed by the Supreme Court last year for his failure to investigate corruption allegations against Zardari.

Leading Pakistan constitutional lawyer?Salman Raja told NBC News he believed Ashraf would remain prime minister, "even in jail."

"He is not likely to be convicted anytime soon," he said."With his arrest the entire democratic?project will suffer. And Mr. Qadri's theme will get underlined, conveniently."

He also questioned the timing of the court's announcement, coming amid the major public protests. "They could have done made this order next week. or three months ago, but they chose to pass it here, today."

How Aaron Swartz contributed to Chinese Internet freedom: The ...

Renowned voice on the Chinese Internet tells VO how Swartz contributed to Chinese Internet freedoms.

The late Aaron Swartz fought to maintain a free Internet culture in the United States, but his contributions to digital freedoms were ? much as the Net itself ? without borders.

As Chinese netizens struggle to evade Online censors in their discussion on press freedom in the People's Republic with puns and other clever instances of wordplay, one Chinese Internet developer and free Internet activist remembers Swartz's contributions to freedom on the Chinese Web.

The Vancouver Observer spoke with Isaac Mao, renowned voice on the Chinese Internet, the day before Swartz's funeral about the RSS Swartz co-created and its contributions to enabling a freer Online discourse for Chinese dissidents. Mao had written a touching tribute to Swartz ? his colleage in Internet freedom -- in Chinese on his own blog.

VO: What inspired you to write a tribute to Aaron on your site? How did you know him??

IM: We had communicated several times via email seven years ago, talking about RSS specifications, purely technically. But later when I initialized ?Creative Commons China project, I did seek his advice on that.?

VO: Would you say that Swartz helped contribute to Chinese Internet freedoms with his work on RSS? How so??

IM: RSS is the most important thing he spontaneously engaged in and contributed to, it's a great thing on the unstructured Internet.

Till today, many Chinese caged users behind Great Firewall enjoy using RSS readers to bypass censorship. There are many tricks and tips Online telling people how to access overseas information by subscribing to appropriate RSS feeds. When censors stop people from browsing a Web site, they may not know there could be multiple spawned channels in RSS format from other intermediate channels. It's like a house ? the doors may be closed, but people can take sunshine from windows. ??

I would say RSS should be changed to ARSS to tribute Aaron's contributions.??

VO: Do you think that Swartz's death will result in a stronger international call for Internet freedom?

IM: Aaron was not the first or only person chasing freedom of access. Nonetheless, people will cherish the legacy of Aaron after 50 years. His death may give us a big shock to wake up to the fact that only open knowledge and media can help humanity. ?I'm sure there will be many aspects from his legend and death to be discussed and debated.??

His fight against SOPA-like bills will be continued. It has never ended.?

Germany: Robbers dig 100-foot tunnel to raid bank

BERLIN (AP) ? German police say robbers dug a 30-meter (100-foot) tunnel into the safe deposit room of a Berlin bank and escaped with their haul, setting a fire as they left to cover their tracks.

Berlin police spokesman Thomas Neuendorf says the tunnel led from an underground garage into the bank's safe deposit room.

Neuendorf told The Associated Press Monday that the tunnel was "very professional" and must have taken weeks or even months to complete. It was elaborately constructed and even had ceiling supports.

Police were alerted to the break-in early Monday when a security guard noticed smoke coming from the deposit room.

Neuendorf says police are still trying to determine what valuables were stolen from the deposit boxes.

Details of the heist called to mind the spectacular robbery of another Berlin bank in 1995. During that robbery thieves entered the bank through the door, took hostages and demanded a helicopter and ransom.

Police besieged and eventually stormed the safe room where the thieves had holed up only to find they had escaped through a tunnel dug by accomplices. Several of the thieves were later caught.

Uses Of Mobile Phone Tracking Software Program | Liberty

The present technologies have made communication and life easier. Mobile devices are becoming very widespread that it just doesn?t make sense to have none. Because of cellular phones, it?s now possible to communicate from virtually everywhere on the globe. Because of this development, several problems have also been produced; the problem of cell phone theft has turned into a major problem. A way of dealing with this situation is making use of a cell phone spy.

Phone monitoring makes it simple for people who lose their own cellular phones because of robbery to recover them. Because of this kind of spying it is possible to identify the precise whereabouts of the cellular phone. As said before, the phone tracking software could be wanted on account of theft; some other good reasons include misplacement of the phone as well as when law enforcement officials are trying to catch a criminal.

In order to track down the whereabouts of the cellular phone, it doesn?t have to make a phone call. Nonetheless it will only be possible when the cellular phone is powered up. The cellular phone could be located by a procedure referred to as triangulation. This requires figuring out its position by using 2 other established towers. These 2 points will often send out mobile phone signals.

Tracking cellular phones is fairly new. But there are certain legal issues related to it. If you want additional information, kindly visit: cellphonetrackerx.net

George H.W. Bush is released from Houston hospital

By Jamie Gangel and Andrew Mach, NBC News

Former President George H.W. Bush was released Monday from a Houston hospital after seven weeks of treatment for bronchitis, a bacterial infection and a persistent cough, the Bush family spokesman said.

Hospital officials said that Bush, 88, was discharged to his Houston home and would continue treatment.

"Mr. Bush has improved to the point that he will not need any special medication when he goes home, but he will continue physical therapy," said Dr. Amy Mynderse, the physician in charge of the former president's care.

Bush was admitted to the Methodist Hospital on Nov. 29, suffering from severe bronchitis.

After initial expectations that he would be hospitalized for just a few days turned out to be wrong, his office disclosed that he was in intensive care in December because physicians were having difficulty controlling a fever that developed after the cough was mostly resolved and were concerned about balancing his medication.

Last week, sources close to the former president indicated that his condition had improved. Visitors to Bush said he was in a good mood and joking with family members and hospital staff and that he was ?looking forward to heading home.?

"I am deeply grateful for the wonderful doctors and nurses at Methodist who took such good care of me," the former President said. "Let me add just how touched we were by the many get-well messages we received from our friends and fellow Americans. Your prayers and good wishes helped more than you know, and as I head home my only concern is that I will not be able to thank each of you for your kind words."

Bush and his wife, Barbara, live in Houston during the winter and spend their summers at a home in Kennebunkport, Maine. On Jan. 6, they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. They are the longest-married presidential couple, and Bush is the nation's oldest living president.

Bronchitis is a common condition in which the bronchial tubes in the lungs become inflamed and produce mucus, which creates the need to cough, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It can turn serious in people with weak immune systems, including children and the elderly. Symptoms such as chest pain, weakness and coughing typically last two weeks, but can linger for as long as two months.

Bush was elected president of the United States in 1988, the capstone of a long career of public service.

He was a Texas Republican member of the House of Representatives in the 1960s and 1970s and head of the CIA in 1976-1977. The organization?s headquarters in Langley, Va., was later renamed the ?George Bush Center for Intelligence.?

Bush lost his first bid for the Republican nomination for the U.S. presidency in 1980, at which time Ronald Reagan chose him to be his running mate. He went on to serve two terms as Reagan?s vice president before winning the presidency. He was defeated for re-election in 1992 by Bill Clinton.

In late 2004, Bush teamed up with Clinton to raise money for the victims of the Asian tsunami. That effort was so successful, the two former presidents did the same for Katrina victims in 2005.

Citic Telecom buys 79% Macau Phone operator ? The Punch ...

Citic Telecom International Holdings Limited, controlled by China?s biggest state-owned investment company, will buy 79 per cent of a Macau phone operator for $1.16bn to expand in Greater China.

Citic Telecom will purchase 51 per cent of Companhia de Telecomunicacoes de Macau, from Cable & Wireless Communications Plc for $749.7m, Hong Kong-based Citic said in a stock exchange filing.

?It will buy a 28 per cent stake from Portugal Telecom SGPS SA for $411.6m, according to the statement. The purchases increase its holding to 99 per cent.

?The business strategy for CITIC Telecom has been to expand its telecommunication businesses in Greater China,? the company said. The acquisition will provide ?an opportunity to take control of Macau?s leading integrated telecom services provider and improve its performance.?

The Macau phone operator, also known as CTM, has the right to provide local and international switched fixed voice and data services in Macau until December 31, 2016, according to the release. As of Nov. 30, its unaudited net asset value was about $215.5m. The government-controlled Macau Post owns the remaining one per cent.

Citic Telecom will fund the purchases with existing cash resources and new bank loans, according to the statement.

For Cable & Wireless, the disposal will allow it to reduce its borrowings and focus on Central America and the Caribbean, it said in an e-mailed release. The deal requires approval from the China and Macau governments, and company shareholders.

Barclays Plc was the lead financial adviser to Citic Telecom, and CITIC Securities Corporate Finance (HK) Limited was also an adviser, according to the statement.

?Following completion of these transactions, we will be a focused pan-America regional operator, with a strong balance sheet, and we intend to pursue new growth opportunities, both organic and inorganic, in this region,? the chief executive officer of Cable & Wireless,? Mr. Tony Rice, said in the statement.

Calls to Portugal Telecom and CTM were not answered outside normal business hours.??

With Russia closing its door, where should adoptive parents turn ...

With Russia closing its doors to adoptions by U.S. families and declines in adoptions from China, Ethiopia, and South Korea, where should U.S. families focus their efforts to adopt children?

From USA Today:

?Adoptions by Americans from abroad are plummeting to a 20-year low after peaking at nearly 23,000 in 2004 and falling to 9,319 in 2011, according to the State Department. The number is expected to plunge further now that Russia, the third-largest source in the last five years, has announced it won?t allow Americans to adopt its orphans. Late Thursday, a Russian official said an existing adoption agreement with the U.S. would remain in effect until 2014 in spite of the new ban, but that no new adoptions would be permitted and only ones already cleared by the courts would be allowed to proceed?.?

?A lot of families may switch to domestic,? said Jenny Pope of Buckner International, an adoption agency. Yet even that?s a growing challenge, because as single parenthood becomes more acceptable, she said ?there are just not as many women placing their children for adoption.?

?As a result, the number of U.S. infant adoptions (about 90,000 in 1971) has fallen from 22,291 in 2002 to 18,078 in 2007, according to the most recent five-year tally from the private National Council for Adoption. Though the numbers are only current through 2007, the group?s president, Chuck Johnson, expects the number has remained fairly stable since 2007, citing efforts to promote adoption.?

?There are fewer foster-care children available, because more are reunited with birth parents or adopted by relatives and foster parents. The overall number of kids in the system, 401,000 in 2011, has hit a 20-year low. The number waiting to be adopted fell from 130,637 in 2003 to 104,236 in 2011, according to the U.S. Children?s Bureau. Their median age is 7 and they?re a mix of races (28% black, 22% Hispanic and 40% white.)?

Experts advise parents that adoption will be much bumpier ride than in the last 10 years.

Have you signed the petition going around Facebook that asks Russia to allow adoptions currently in play to continue?

Are you currently trying to adopt in Russia? What will happen with your adoption plans?

If you are thinking about adopting, would you try overseas or try for a baby in the U.S.? Would you consider adopting foster children? (We have a friend who took in a precious baby in foster care and helped the baby through loads of problems and then a family member showed up and took the baby. The mom still gets to see the child some but it was really hard. She would have loved to adopt the baby.)

If you?ve been through the adoption process what are your recommendations?

Broncos, Ravens brace for frigid playoff in Denver

DENVER (AP) ? That glove Peyton Manning has been wearing on his throwing hand will come in quite handy Saturday for what could be the coldest home postseason game in Denver Broncos' history.

Those not playing may want to sit on the heated benches ? or next to the electric heaters ? because the game-time temperature when the Broncos host the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional playoffs is expected to be 17 degrees, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina.

In other words, "bundle up," Kalina said.

The coldest postseason contest at Mile High was 18 degrees for the 1977 AFC championship game, when Denver beat Oakland 20-17.

The chilliest home game ever in Denver? That would be 9 degrees against San Diego on Dec 10, 1972.

Being such a meticulous planner, Manning left nothing to chance in the weeks leading up this game. To prepare for the possibility of wintry weather, the four-time NFL MVP wore an orange-and-gray glove on his throwing hand the last two games. Manning has been quite effective, too, with the glove ? his completion percentage has been almost 6 points better and his passer rating almost 20 points higher than without it.

The stickiness of the glove also helps Manning better grip the football, especially these days after the multiple neck surgeries he underwent during his season out of football.

"I certainly don't think I would have had to wear the glove had I not been injured last year," Manning said. "It's part of my injury, some things that I've had to adjust. I'm in a different body. Some things are different for me, so that's the reason for that as much as anything."

The cool weather certainly hasn't been friendly to Manning, who's 0-3 in playoff games in which the temperature at kickoff is less than 40 degrees.

And this game will certainly be well south of that number.

"It's going to be very cold," Kalina said. "There may even be a few flakes, but it shouldn't affect the game. Just really cold."

This isn't even close to the coldest game in NFL history, though. That distinction belongs to "The Ice Bowl" on Dec. 31, 1967, when the temperature at Lambeau Field reached minus-13 (with a minus-48 wind chill) in a contest between Green Bay and Dallas.

All week, Broncos players boasted about wearing short-sleeves despite the cool conditions. It was simply a matter of convincing the mind it really wasn't all the frigid.

"Once you get out there, you're on the field, you're just fine," Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas said earlier this week. "But if you're just sitting around, that's when it gets to you. As long as you're out there on the field and warm, you're good."

The field should be in solid shape, though, with more than 20 miles of water-heated tubing under the field to keep it from freezing.

Almond+ WiFi router coming to Kickstarter: touchscreen, 802.11ac, home automation

Almond Kickstarter project

Securifi isn't your average Kickstarter outfit. It already has one Almond wireless touchscreen router under its belt, currently sold at Amazon, and now it's about to bid for crowdfunding to build a sequel: the Almond+. The new device will incorporate a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen for PC-free setup, dual band 802.11ac for speeds of up to 1,167Mbps, plus an integrated Smart Home hub that works with the slightly esoteric Zigbee and Z-Wave protocols. In conjunction with the iOS and Android app, this would let you access regular home automation tasks from anywhere, including security alerts and heating and lighting control. We'll see more of it when the project launches at Kickstarter, at which point it'll have a $250,000 funding goal.

A Tale From Gore's Quest for Current TV - NYTimes.com

I left one out.

Last week, in an article detailing Al Gore?s negotiations with cable and satellite carriers about the sale of his cable channel Current TV, I wrote, ?Mr. Gore, who lost his last big legal argument ? the one in 2000 ? succeeded.? He got most of the big carriers to consent to the takeover of Current by Al Jazeera.

There was actually another big legal argument by Mr. Gore between the time he lost the presidency in 2000 and he won support for the Current TV sale in 2013. It?s a tale almost no one knows about, of something that took place in 2005 when Mr. Gore and his business partner,?Joel Hyatt, were trying to get Current off the ground. This one, Mr. Gore won.

The year before, Mr. Gore and Mr. Hyatt had acquired a small international news channel called Newsworld International from Vivendi. They were initially going to rename the channel INdTV. But Mr. Hyatt came up with another name, Current TV, while on a ski vacation in Utah with his son.

He and Mr. Gore announced the new name in April 2005, four months before the planned start (or, rather, restart) of the channel. But a company called Current Communications objected. This Current was a provider of broadband Internet through electric power lines in Cincinnati, with ambitious plans to expand to other states.

The company owned trademarks for ?Current Communications? and ?Current Broadband,? and had submitted applications for a batch of other Current-related names. So Current Communications filed a trademark lawsuit and sought a preliminary injunction to stop Current TV from being born.

The ensuing hearing was held ?in a federal courthouse in Cincinnati, in front of a federal judge appointed by George H.W. Bush, who also was a former Republican county commissioner,? said Joseph R. Dreitler, the lead lawyer for Current TV.

Cincinnati is a Republican city, and there was some concern that Mr. Gore would ?get homered by a local Republican,? Mr. Dreitler said, meaning that the judge would favor the home team, not the out-of-town Democratic visitor.

The hearing for the injunction was scheduled for late July, a week before Current TV?s scheduled restart date. Mr. Dreitler recalled that Mr. Gore and Mr. Hyatt told him shortly before the hearing, ?If you lose, we will have lost $75 million.? He answered, ?Thanks, guys, no pressure there.?

Mr. Gore was present for the entire hearing. During the break for lunch, he and Mr. Hyatt dined at a nearby Wendy?s.

According to Judge Sandra S. Beckwith?s subsequent ruling, Current TV?s lawyers asserted in court that if the injunction were granted, the channel would have ?virtually no programming to put on the air (all of its logos, etc. have already been incorporated into its programming), the network will ?go dark? ? i.e. stop broadcasting.?

?It will then default on its leases,? their argument continued, ?be compelled to cease business, and investors? contributions of $75 million will be lost.?

Current Communications? lawyers said that it had spent a lot of money, too: millions of dollars marketing its brand-name service. Looking a few years into the future, the company said it envisioned providing fast access to video via its power-line broadband. It?s easy to imagine that service being called Current TV.

But Judge Beckwith found that this service still appeared to be in the planning stages. And she said that the claim about millions in marketing expenditures was ?suspect.? Over all, she concluded, ?neither party appears to be clearly headed for a collision with the services presently contemplated by the other, and neither party appears capable of providing the other?s services.?

Judge Beckwith ruled that Current Communications would most likely not prevail at trial, so she denied the company?s request for a preliminary injunction.

Mr. Dreitler said the case was his defining moment as a trademark lawyer. He recalled walking out of the courthouse with his clients and hearing Mr. Gore say to Mr. Hyatt, loud enough so Mr. Dreitler could hear, ?If Dreitler had done that argument in the Supreme Court, I would be president.?

Today, the tale is just a footnote for history. The Current Communications name has been retired; the company now goes by Cincinnati Communications. In a few months the Current TV name will be retired, too, and Al Jazeera will take its place.

?It?s just a shame they could never break through the clutter and talking heads of cable,? Mr. Dreitler said.

Founded to help build a non-proprietary ecosystem for Smart TV apps, the Alliance's ranks have grown to include Panasonic IBM Specific Media, ABOX42 and TechniSat. Smart TV Alliance president Richard Choi is optimistic that the new members will help it mend a fragmented market, giving developers a chance to focus on building apps, rather than navigate compliance processes. A CES developers conference hopes to get them started, too -- introducing the latest SDK's upcoming features, including updated HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript specifications, as well as support for new video codecs and 3D video.
